About my week

This week was completely dominated by NaNoWriMo, which in case you were wondering, I ACTUALLY BEAT!!!! 50,000 words of story and I couldn’t be happier about it. I reckon it’ll take another 20k to finish the plot, then I have to go through and make a first draft. Exciting stuff. Also, the PLEXUS committee elections kicked off this week, so by this time next week, I’ll know if I’ve blagged myself a position, which is WAY scary!

About my week

This week has been the poster child for bi-polar moods. I’ve been super productive, writing and studying loads, and it’s been totally amazing. I’ve also been utterly miserable about a whole lot of stuff, which was less fun. On the plus side, I’m about 5,000 words away from beating NaNoWriMo which is totally awesome!

About my week

I can’t remember it, so it must have been good! Seriously, I can’t remember it. I’ve done a heck of a lot of writing though, for my #NaNoWriMo project, which is now sitting at a whopping 24,634 words! Which, obviously, I am incredibly happy with.

About my week

This week was very busy, and a little depressing. But most importantly it was the start of NaNoWriMo 2018! I’m pleased to say I’ve managed to keep my word count so far, and the story seems like it will be a lot of fun. I’m excited!

About my week

I can’t remember any of this week – that’s probably not such a good thing! All I know is that learned I’m up against 3 others for a position on the LGBT committee at my uni, I put myself up for a new position (Equalities & Support Officer) and I just submitted my first assignment. Oh Yeah, and I planned the sequel to my NaNoWriMo novel – so I do remember some of it!

About my week

So I’m a little late with this one, but oh well. This week has been study central. I’ve got to terms with making notes (after seven years of not bothering), I’m breaking my study up into chunks and all sorts of good stuff. I got my study area set up nicely and things are starting to come together. Also, big news, I applied to be the Trans Officer for my university’s LGBTQIA+ committee, so that’s exciting…hopefully I get it, you never know, maybe I will…

About my week…

Apparently it’s been 2 weeks since I did on of these, the reason being that the last two weeks have been all kinds of horrible. I’ve been ill, my brain has been fighting against me and not a lot got done. BUT I started my new degree and managed to get some studying done, so I’m calling it a victory.

This week has been all about writing. I am now probably 2/3 of the way through the 400 page A4 refill pad I’m hand-writing my book onto, and typing up as I finish each chapter. Current word count is around 20,000 words!! Hopefully it’s getting better as it goes.
